The Club is putting the finishing touches on plans for their June garage/rummage sale. The date for this fundraiser/sale is Saturday, June 16 with selling hours between 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The location at 171 N. Elmwood Avenue is a stone's throw from the Oak Park Farmers' Market. Items from several households will include: sporting goods and tools, Christmas decorations, books, small appliances and housewares, plenty of miscellany and jewelry featuring over 200 pairs of earrings. A space will be dedicated for kids-type merchandise. All sales will be CASH ONLY and will be final. All proceeds go towards local and International Zonta service projects structured to benefit the status of women.
