Giving
In December, 2002, the Zonta Club of Oak Park finally received approval of our application to become a tax-exempt charitable foundation and the new "Zonta Oak Park Foundation, Inc." is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit. From now on, contributions made for our service fundraisers, as long as they are payable to Zonta Oak Park Foundation, are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. It took several years, rewrites and resubmissions but we are now official! Many thanks go to those who were responsible for this success, especially Donna Joss.
