Objectives of Zonta International:
a) to provide service at the global and local level
b) to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women
c) to work for the advancement of understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of executives in business and the professions
d) to promote justice and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms
e) to be united internationally to foster high ethical standards, to implement service programs, and to provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations,
and the universe

Zonta Club of Oak Park History
The Oak Park Club of Zonta International was organized in February, 1934, and received its charter on May 26, 1934. The charter was presented by Cora E. McKenzie of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who was the current President of Zonta International. The initial club had 20 members. In 1999, the Club celebrated its 65th Anniversary! more
