The sale hours are 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Offerings will include toys, Christmas decorations, books, household items too numerous to mention and jewelry, including over 200 pairs of earrings. Zonta Club of Oak Park article as seen in "Neighbors" newspaper November 2002
In December, 2002, Zonta Club of Oak Park received an early Christmas gift from the Internal Revenue Service. We finally received approval of our application to become a tax-exempt charitable foundation and the new "Zonta Oak Park Foundation, Inc." is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit. From now on, contributions made for our service fund-raisers, as long as they are payable to Zonta Oak Park Foundation, are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. It took several years, rewrites and resubmissions but we are now official! Many thanks go to those who were responsible for this success, especially Donna Joss.
